Io, l’Ecclesiaste, sono stato re d’Israele a Gerusalemme,
And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you.
1Allora Samuele disse a tutto Israele: «Ecco, ho ascoltato la vostra voce in tutto quello che mi avete detto e ho costituito su di voi un re.
And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.
Poi gli disse: «Non temere: la mano di Saul mio padre non potrà raggiungerti e tu regnerai su Israele mentre io sarò a te secondo. Anche Saul mio padre lo sa bene
And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel.
Questi sono i re che regnarono nel paese di Edom, prima che alcun re regnasse sui figliuoli d’Israele:

And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.
Vennero dunque tutti gli anziani d'Israele dal re in Ebron e il re Davide fece alleanza con loro in Ebron davanti al Signore ed essi unsero Davide re sopra Israele
Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
Così dice l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele: "Io ti ho unto re d'Israele e ti ho liberato dalle mani di Saul.
So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.

And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.
«Io non ritornerò con te, poiché hai rigettato la parola dell’Eterno, e l’Eterno ha rigettato te perché tu non sia più re sopra Israele.
Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
Ora, o Eterno Iddio, si avveri la promessa che hai fatta a Davide mio padre, poiché tu m’hai fatto re di un popolo numeroso come la polvere della terra!
And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
35Samuele non rivide più Saul fino al giorno della sua morte; ma Samuele piangeva per Saul, perché il Signore si era pentito di aver fatto regnare Saul su Israele. 1 SAMUELE – 16

35 And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.
35 E Samuele, finché visse, non andò più a vedere Saul, perché Samuele faceva cordoglio per Saul; e l’Eterno si pentiva d’aver fatto Saul re d’Israele.
And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah.
Vennero allora gli uomini di Giuda e qui unsero Davide re sulla casa di Giuda.
And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

When the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David: and David heard of it, and went out against them.

Samuele disse a Saul: «Il Signore ha inviato me per consacrarti re sopra Israele suo popolo. Ora ascolta la voce del Signore
And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.
Poi lo costituì re su Gàlaad, sugli Asuriti, su Izreèl, su Efraim e su Beniamino, cioè su tutto Israele
Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.

And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel's sake.

Ieu si alzò ed entrò in una camera; quegli gli versò l'olio sulla testa dicendogli: «Dice il Signore, Dio di Israele: Ti ungo re sul popolo del Signore, su Israele
Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.
Tutti gli anziani di Israele si presentarono al re in Ebron. Davide concluse con loro un'alleanza in Ebron davanti al Signore. Con l'unzione consacrarono Davide re su Israele, secondo la parola pronunziata dal Signore per mezzo di Samuele
And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David.

So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel.
Davide, ormai vecchio e sazio di giorni, nominò re su Israele suo figlio Salomone
Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, Because the LORD hath loved his people, he hath made thee king over them.

And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
